Meet Ms. Byrne – SET Teacher & Leader of Active Flag Leader
Ms. Byrne is our dedicated Special Education Teacher (SET), working four days a week, and she also leads our Active School Flag and GAA programs at Glenasmole National School. With a strong commitment to supporting students’ diverse learning needs, she ensures that every child can thrive both academically and physically.
In her role as SET, Ms. Byrne provides tailored interventions and individualised support, working closely with teachers and children. Her nurturing and proactive approach helps all students reach their full potential.
In addition, Ms. Byrne leads the Active School Flag initiative, encouraging students to embrace physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. Through a variety of activities, she fosters a culture of wellness, teamwork, and fun, ensuring that movement is a key part of school life.
Ms. Byrne’s leadership in both special education and physical education creates a holistic approach to learning, promoting academic excellence and a well-rounded development for all children.
