Creative Clusters

Glenasmole National School is delighted to be part of the Creative Clusters initiative, working together with other local schools on creative projects and shared learning experiences.

A key focus for our school is wellbeing, which forms an important part of our School Self Evaluation. Over the last few years, we have been developing our approach to wellbeing across the school, and we have used our Creative Clusters project as an opportunity to explore this theme in creative and meaningful ways.

This year, as part of our Creative Clusters work, pupils took part in Forest School experiences. These outdoor learning experiences encouraged curiosity, creativity, teamwork and a deeper connection with the natural environment around us.

Our school staff have also worked collaboratively with staff from other local schools, sharing ideas and developing creative approaches to teaching and learning. This helps ensure that pupils across the wider community have access to high quality, innovative and meaningful learning experiences.

Through Creative Clusters, our pupils have opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, express themselves creatively and take part in rich experiences that support both learning and wellbeing.
