As principal of Glenasmole NS I am delighted to welcome you all to our wonderful school.
Glenasmole NS is a vibrant school located in the picturesque foothills of the Dublin mountains. We are a small, 4 classroom school where our students have the added benefit of mixed grade classes throughout their time here.
The multi-class setting enables children to develop skills in independent and small-group learning. We believe that our students benefit best from a broad balanced educational experience within a caring environment. This promotes positive attitudes towards learning enabling each of our pupils to recognize their talents and achieve their full potential. We aim to use child centered learning approaches such as project work and strong community interaction in our teaching and learning. Our school has been actively involved in Green schools, Active schools, Primary science and other initiatives.
I am ever grateful for the work our teachers, SNA, parents, secretary, board and wider school community do to continually support the development of this school.
