Rewards & Sanctions:
We encourage positive behaviour at Glenasmole National School. A balance is maintained between rewards and sanctions in such a way that students learn that the choices they make will have consequences. A whole-school approach is used in the administration of rewards and sanctions. Examples of rewards are – verbal praise, Class Dojo points, homework passes, class treats, golden time, pupil and table of the week. Examples of sanctions are – verbal warning, written warning, removal from group, note in journal, school rules to be written out, Principal and parents notified. The school Code of Behaviour and Discipline details the process for dealing with unacceptable behaviour.
